How to Change one's life ?

The unknown is often looked at with suspicion, even with fear. We see a potential danger in discovering something other than the daily routine. We thus evolve in the quest for permanent psychological security. This way of life does not allow us to be free from conflicts and contradictions, on the contrary. The real dangers lie elsewhere. It begins in early childhood, being brought up to believe, to be well-behaved, to say one's prayers before brushing one's teeth. It starts with parental authority, this upbringing which in a form of violence, forcing the other to do what parents do not do themselves.

Then comes schooling and the conditioning to good citizenship and the glorification of one's country, its warlords, nationalism and its divisions. In short, we are prepared to conform to a sick society, without ever questioning anything. This is where the real dangers lie. As for fear, it is only the consequence of thought, the thinking about it. But in the acting there is no fear, only the joy of working. Leaving the rails and conformity to take a side path is to discover what the great human adventure is..

However, the individual has the tendency to expect the external conditions to be favorable to himself in order to undertake the great change. He tells himself that he will never earn as much money as in the metropolis, that there is no job elsewhere, and that unemployment is everywhere etc. In short, all excuses are good to stagnate in habits. He told himself that he needs security to move, but nothing ever happens.

To wait for the circumstances to be right is a form of immobility, derived from the weight of thought. On the other hand, total action generates its own momentum and its own responses, naturally. This is only possible by the attention we pay to daily life. You have to see the disorder and really want to find order; because it is the observation of what is that insight comes about, thus bringing about the perception that liberates.

And we do not know how to look at the fact of our existence, we run away from it, we idealize it, or we justify it. To realize intellectually is not enough, because ideas are without values, only the facts matter. To idealize is a form of complacency. To indulge is to live a false existence. Only the honest mind can change his life and accomplish something great.
